This week has been very lazy. Not only am I getting over a cold, but I am finally home on summer vacation. Actually, it’s a permanent vacation now that I’m a graduate (woo-hoo!). Anyways, it’s easy to intellectually accept why I’ve been lazy, however, like most people, I very much dislike being sick and have resented my lack of action. On the bright side, my sickness was an inspiration to break the bank on some new Teavana tea. For my fruity fix, I purchased the Raspberry Limeade blend and for some spice I got the Maharaja/Samurai Chai. I love both. Yesterday, I was finally feeling decent enough for dinner and a movie (it was Saturday night after all..). My outfit reflects the dreary, yet beautiful weather. Remember, I am from Michigan, which means the weather changes by the hour. Yesterday was on the verge of rain all day, yet I don’t think it ever did. This almost-rain was met with a warm/muggy undertone that was comforting, and the sky turned the color of rosé. So I wore my rain boots and left my hair natural, for the humidity would conduct its appearance anyways.
p.s. I love being home.
